Ramadan greetings and best wishes for all world

"Allah has made Laylat al-Qadr in this month, which is better than a thousand months, as Allah says...The Night of Al-Qadr is better than a thousand months. Therein descend the angels and the Rooh [Jibreel (Gabriel)] by Allah's Permission with all Decrees, there is peace until the appearance of dawn.

“Ramadan is here, Here is Ramadan. Ramadan is coming, The time that is blessed. Ramadan is coming, The time we love best. The month in which the Qur'an was sent; A time of great blessing in which to repent. Fasting for Allah is a great Muslim deed; Controlling desires and Suppressing greed.

"(Fasting) for a fixed number of days; but if any of you is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed number (Should be made up) from days later. For those who can do it (With hardship), is a ransom, the feeding of one that is indigent. But he that will give more, of his own free will,- it is better for him. And it is better for you that ye fast, if ye only knew"

"Ramadan is the (month) in which the Quran was sent down as a guide to making and a clear guidance and judgment (so that mankind will distinguish from right and wrong?)”

"O believers, fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you. So that you may become righteous."

"When the month of Ramadan arrives, the doors of mercy are opened."

"When the month of Ramadan start, the gates of heaven are opened and the gates of hell are closed and the devils are chained."

"Fasting is, first and foremost, an exercise for identifying and managing adversity in all its forms. With faith, in full conscience, fasting calls women and men to an extra degree of self-awareness."

Suhour
Each morning before sunrise, Muslims engage in a pre-fast meal called 'suhour'. Afterwards, they start their fast with the Fajr prayers. Suhoor is usually made up of breakfast food to keep you energised throughout the day.

Iftar
Literally translates to "Break Fast". It is the first meal that muslims can enjoy after fasting for the whole day. It takes place at sunset every day during Ramadan.

Tarawih
These are the night time prayers performed during this month. Tawarwih prayers are not compulsory, but they are performed by many Muslims.

Eid Mubarak
Eid means a Muslim festival or celebration and Mubarak means blessed. Together it means blessed celebration and used as a greeting to mark the end of the month of Ramadan where a three-day festivity follows.
